Deadline extended till Monday.
As for FOOD, DIV 3 rocks! We are collecting a mountain of food and are determined to win! :) Large family tree due Oct. 30. Students will need their cereal boxes ON (not before) Monday, Nov. 3. Brother and sister paragraphs due tomorrow. I've extended the due date for these family trees as there is much work yet to be done. I will determine a new due date Friday.
I'm encouraging students to work on their French in class, but take the colouring home, where possible, since they don't need my help to colour. Every year, I invite students to bring their pets to school at the beginning of the day. This allows them to describe their pet in French. Students always love it! If their pet can't come in 'person,' they can bring a photo to describe.
All pets are welcome and there are no allergies in our class. All animals need to be on leashes or in cages and will return home after they've been presented. Next Wednesday, October 29 first thing in the morning! We have completed 3 pages of our albums. Page 1 was the introduction, page 2 will be our small family trees, page 3 was entitled 'moi,' and page 4 will me 'ma mère.' Page 5 will be students' father.
Both page 4 and 5 are due tomorrow. We've started our large family trees and I hope to have them done by the end of next week.
Students need to write a paragraph about themselves. Students need to give their name, age and a physical description of themselves and three things they like. Due tomorrow. Due vendredi (coloured and fine-lined).
Worksheet "Vive les differences" Students need to write an introduction about themselves including the following information:
name, age, date of birth, where they live (including city, province, country), where they are a student and in what grade, the members of their immediate family and their names and three things they like. Students all have these sentences in the work they have already done. (Parents, impressed at how much they can already write? I'm very proud of them!) :) Due tomorrow. |
