A very generous community member donated this to the class! Isn't it fantastic? This is a wonderful community to work in and I am very grateful. Thank you!
Bravo tout le monde! I was so happy to see so many parents involved in learning what their kids are learning! Division 3 has done some excellent work and this was a great opportunity to share finished products with our parents!
Thank you so much to all who came! Couldn't make it? Don't worry! Your child will be able to share his/her work with you at home this weekend! I hope you enjoy!! In an effort to remain organised, students are using cups from hot lunch, taped to their desk, to use as a pencil jar. While I applaud these efforts, the plastic cups are so lightweight that they fall off the desk, spilling pens and pencils everywhere. After weeks, the tape on the desk becomes gross and probably germ infected.
I have requested, therefore, that if students wish to use a pencil jar, it must be of heavy plastic (like a dollar store item) or metal. Students can simply use a can, wash it out (making sure there are no sharp edges) and use that, if they wish. The cans will be heavy enough not to topple off the desks anytime someone walks by. Thank you. :) Please plan on coming to share in your child's work an progress, Thursday!! If you cannot make it, please let your child know. He/she can take home the work and checklist to share with you there! All student checklists need to be returned to me, as I will take a photocopy of them before returning them to you. Thank you! |
