For students who feel they do not have enough information to hand in to Mrs. Nordlee about tobacco, they can hand in this write-up. They may feel they do not have enough information due to any number of reasons, up to and including not using time wisely in class.
The criteria for the 3 paged (double spaced, hand-written length) paper:
Title: Tobacco in the 20th and 21st Centuries
1) What is tobacco?
2)How has it been used? (cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco...)
3) Why do we use it? What does it do to us? (Celebrities used to use it and it had 'no side effects!')
4) How can a person stop smoking?
(Can discuss the new trends of e-cigs filled with chemicals (no studies yet to show side-effects that I know of) and flavoured tobacco to attract the young to start).
